Zhonglun New Materials' wholly owned subsidiary, Fujian Sinolong Industrial Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Sinolong Industrial"), is a leading provider of high-performance polymer materials, focusing on innovative R&D and intelligent manufacturing of high-performance polyamide materials.
The company's production facility is based in Quanzhou, Fujian, China. It covers an area of over 130,000 square meters. Phase 1 of the High Performance Polyamide Material Project began operation in 2017, with a 145 ktpa production capacity. Construction of the second phase is currently underway and will increase the overall production capacity of the site to over 350 ktpa. The current portfolio of products includes high-performance polymers, including film-grade polyamide and high-temperature polyamides. These products are utilised across several end-use applications, including functional films, rail transportation, automotive, electrical & electronics, and textiles. As a result, it has established itself as the world’s largest producer and seller of film-grade polyamide.
By using the two driving forces of “R&D Innovation + Intelligent Manufacturing,” Sinolong Industrial has developed a full chain innovation model that spans material mechanism study to large-scale production. In terms of R&D, the company’s technical team is pursuing independent innovation and working closely with academic and research institutions, including Xiamen University and the Quangang Petrochemical Research Institute of Fujian Normal University. The team is continually developing new technologies in the area of high-performance polymer materials. On the intelligent manufacturing side, Sinolong Industrial has created a flexible continuous polymerisation system, a real-time full process monitoring system and a high-standard quality inspection system. This allows the company to maintain consistent molecular weight distributions and stable performance characteristics while producing a wide variety of products for its customers.
