BOPA film can be widely applied for the flexible packaging of food, daily-uses, chemicals, electronic products, etc. with its multi-performances. According to the applications, we can divide them into the following parts.
PART 1. Food Package
- Typical lamination structure: BOPA//PE
- Some specific applications: jelly, bread.
- Performances required: the requirements in printing are more complicated , and in frame pairing is more higher. Vacuum package should have good impact resistance.
- 2. Frozen Food Package
- Typical lamination structure: BOPA//PE
- Some specific applications: frozen dumpling, frozen meat.
- Performances required: low temperature resistance, good flexibility, puncture resistance, etc..
- Typical lamination structure: BOPA//CPP, BOPA//RCPP, BOPA//AL//RCPP
- Some specific applications: flammulina velutipes, bamboo shoots, bean products, beef, etc..
- Performances required: the requirements in printing are more complicated , in frame pairing is more higher, and also can be sterilized. The inner layer should be choose the CPP or RCPP film.
- 4. Zongzi Package
- Typical lamination structure: BOPA-15mic//BOPA-25mic//RCPP, BOPA-25mic//RCPP
- Performances required: ① BOPA film with both corona treatment. ② High mechanical strength property. ③ Good tensile strength and impact resistance. ④ The adhesive should be a two-component polyurethane adhesive capable of withstanding high temperature > 135 ℃, with solid content of 35 ~ 40%. ⑤ The inner layer should be RCPP withstanding high temperature retort > 135℃.
- 5. Heavy Package
- Typical lamination structure: BOPA//PE, BOPA//PE&PE
- Some specific applications: oil bags, rice bags.
- Performances required: good puncture resistance, flex-crack resistance, tensile strength and tensile nominal strain are required.
- 6. Instant Beverage Package
- Typical lamination structure: PET//AL//BOPA//PE
- Some specific applications: coffee, powder milk
- Performances required: high barrier, drop resistance, good compression resistance.
PART 2. Daily-uses Package
- Typical lamination structure: BOPA//PE
- Body of stand-up pouch: PET//BOPA//PE, PET//PE.
- Bottom of stand-up pouch: PET//BOPA//PE
- Some specific applications: washing powder, washing liquid, cosmetics, etc..
- Performances required: good tightness, compression resistance , drop resistance.
PART 3. Pharmaceutical Package
- Typical lamination structure: BOPA-25mic//AL//PVC
- Some specific applications: blister package
- Performances required: good ductility and the performance resistance to deeply punch press.
PART 4. Electronic Products Package
- Typical lamination structure: BOPA-25mic//AL//CPP
- Some specific applications: lithium battery seperator film
- Performances required: the performance resistance to deeply punch press.
PART 5. Others
5.1 Cushion Package
- Typical lamination structure: BOPA//PE, PET//BOPA//PE
- Some specific applications: inflatable protective packaging
- Performances required: low OTR, good tensile strength, tightness, etc..
5.2 Balloon
- Typical lamination structure: BOPA//PE, VMPA//PE
- Performances required: focus on elongation, thermal shrinkage and thickness to ensure the roundness of the balloon.
5.3 Quit & Clothing Storage Bags
- Typical lamination structure: BOPA//PE
- Performances required: good planeness
