The National Standard Conference on Biaxially Oriented Poly Lactic Acid Film was successfully held in Xiamen

Changsu Industrial leads and participates in the development of national standards for BOPLA.

On April 26th, the national standard seminar on ” Biaxially Oriented Poly Lactic Acid Film (BOPLA)” was held in Xiamen. Yunxuan Weng, Secretary General of the National Biobased Materials and Degradable Products Standardization Committee, presided over the standard discussion. The standard was led by the main drafting unit Xiamen Changsu Industrial Co., Ltd., Shandong Shenghe New Materials Co., Ltd., Hainan Sainuo Industrial Co., Ltd., Anhui Fengyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd Enterprises and universities in the BOPLA industry chain, including Anhui Fengyuan Fermentation Technology Engineering Research Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Haizheng Biomaterials Co., Ltd., Beijing Yonghua Qingtian Technology Development Co., Ltd., National Plastic Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, and Beijing Business University, jointly participated in the standard discussion.

Before the meeting, Wei Zheng, the general manager of Xiamen Changsu, as the host, warmly welcomed the arrival of all expert representatives. Subsequently, Secretary General Yunxuan Weng presided over the meeting, emphasizing the purpose and significance of developing the BOPLA national standard, and clarifying the principle of “focusing on downstream user needs” for standard formulation. After enthusiastic exchanges and in-depth discussions among all parties present, this meeting reached positive results, further improving the preliminary draft plan of the BOPLA national standard, and clarifying the direction for future standardized production and promotion of the use of BOPLA by various enterprises in the industry.

After the meeting, Secretary General Yunxuan Weng and his delegation visited Xiamen Changsu and visited the Enterprise Technology Exhibition Hall to gain a detailed understanding of the innovative development achievements of Xiamen Changsu in the three major product fields of new energy film, biodegradable film, and functional film. They also inspected the world’s leading LISIM production line. Secretary General Yunxuan Weng expressed appreciation for the efforts and achievements made by Xiamen Changsu in the formulation of BOPLA standards, product innovation, and market promotion. He hoped that Xiamen Changsu would continue to deeply cultivate the BOPLA industry, develop more high-quality green and low-carbon materials, and contribute material technology to the green transformation of downstream industries.
