BiONLY® is a new bio-based biodegradable polylactic acid film (BOPLA) made by biaxial stretching process ,which is a green product. Through multi-dimensional innovations such as material research, structural design and process technology, we have successfully developed it for several years. The biaxial stretching process gives polylactic acid (PLA) materials higher strength, higher optical properties and higher stiffness. At the same time, thinner film thicknesses can be achieved which make the material disintegration and microbial erosion process easier, thus greatly shortening the biodegradation time of the film. BOPLA has reliable biosafety and controllable degradation characteristics, taking into account the shelf life and biodegradation requirements of end products, and avoiding the shortening of end product shelf life due to excessive degradation. Meanwhile, BOPLA can effectively reduce carbon emissions. It can be used as an important material to accelerate the realization of national carbon peaking and carbon neutrality strategic goals. It can widely replace the disposable film used in e-commerce logistics, high-end food, electronic products, paper-plastic lamination and other fields.
