What causes the delamination of nylon film after surface lamination and then boiling?
Due to the feature of moisture absorption, the peel strength would be affected to a certain extent, and after the process of surface printing, lamination and then boiling or retort, the delamination phenomenon of nylon film is magnified. Therefore, general boiled adhesives cannot be used in the temperature below 121 ℃. In the structure of BOPA / /PE (115 ℃) and BOPA / /CPP(121 ℃), only retort adhesive with 135 ℃ resistance can be used, and increase the adhesive dosage appropriately. Moreover, it is better to use a waterproof coating to prevent moisture from invading the nylon film.
Why does the BOPA film laminated with other materials for a period of time produce tiny bubbles?
BOPA is a good barrier material. If there are too many residual solvents in the process of printing and lamination, they would remain in the film interlayer if they cannot evaporate through the film after curing. This is because the residual water reacts with the isocyanate group in the curing agent to form a residual gas dominated by carbon dioxide.
How do tiny bubbles with sundries appear in the film during lamination?
The reasons for tiny bubbles and sundries in the lamination film include,
1) Dust on the adhesive and film surface.
2) Small holes in the film.
3) Dirt falling on the film surface through the drying box.
4) Environmental sanitation around the workshop.
5) Large static electricity on the film surface adsorbs sundries from the air.
