China Packaging Container Expo | Explore innovative material solutions with Changsu

From July 12 to July 14, PACKCON 2023 China Packaging Container Expo was held in Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center. This exhibition brought together more than 500 packaging containers, materials and service design suppliers, and attracted about 120,000 people from the terminal fields of food, beverage, daily chemical, e-commerce logistics, electronic appliances, medicine and health.

At the exhibition, Changsu Industrial launched the first domestic new biodegradable film BiONLY, which attracted many brand owners.

Polylactic acid (PLA), the raw material for BiONLY ®, is derived from a biological base and is considered one of the important trends in sustainable packaging. As a biaxial stretched polylactic acid film, the “environmental attribute” is outstanding, not only awarded the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology “national green design product” honor, but also obtained the national authority certification of biodegradation certification, as well as the European authority DIN，products in line with European and American environmental protection, food safety regulations.

The controllable degradation characteristics of BiONLY ® have also gained “praise” from brand owners. Through process innovation and formulation optimization, BiONLY ® can fully meet the needs of product shelf life, and the bidirectional drawing process also gives BiONLY ® higher strength and mechanical properties, so that its application field can be further expanded.

For many years, Changsu Industrial has continuously promoted the functional upgrade of BOPA, and has now launched EHA ® Fresh lock type, TSA ® linear tear type ® APA antibacterial and other functional film products have endowed excellent “special functions” for product packaging in various fields such as food, beverage, daily chemical, and pharmaceutical.

EHA ® fresh locking film has  excellent high barrier performance, endows the packaging with the function of “physical freshness locking”, making it one of the effective means to retain the freshness of food for a long time and extend the shelf life of products. TSA ® linear tear film allows various packaging to achieve a  smoother bag opening experience without the need for other tools/processes or composite materials; The APA antibacterial type can effectively inhibit Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, and has passed SGS certification with an antibacterial rate of ≥ 99.9%, providing safer sterile protection for food.
