With the continuous rise of green consumption and the advent of the low-carbon era, JD.com, one of the leading e-commerce companies, also officially launched the “Green Plan” on May 31 this year.
According to the requirements of the “Green Plan”, JD.com screened and marked products through four levels: product qualifications, functions, usage scenarios, and express packaging. This means that the concept of low-carbon and environmental protection runs through the entire life cycle of product production and sales, from front-end production to distribution to use.
The “14th Five-Year Plan” for Bio-economic Development issued by the National Development and Reform Commission clearly pointed out to promote the replacement of traditional chemical raw materials with bio-based materials and promote the application of biodegradable materials and products. With the release of the national policy, it is necessary to solve a series of problems arising in the process of express delivery and logistics, and to meet the strict usage scenarios of express tapes, as well as to ensure low carbon and environmental protection, which has become the latest issue that the express logistics industry needs to face. Changsu Industry’s new bio-degradable film (BOPLA) BiONLY® and BiOPA® came into being.
The mechanical performance of BiONLY ® is close to BOPP, and the printing performance and optical performance are better than BOPP. It can be applied to the degradable sealing tape for express logistics. It can meet the product sealing requirements while taking into account the degradability, so as to meet the demand for degradable tape in the express logistics industry.
In addition, BOPLA can directly produce and process BOPP tape on the existing BOPP machine without changing the processing mode, so as to avoid waste of resources and unnecessary new investment. After use, the product can be quickly degraded into water and carbon dioxide under composting conditions, avoiding the impact of massive non degradable sealing tapes on the environment. At the same time, it is derived from biological substrates and has the characteristics of low-carbon emission, which can meet the low-carbon needs of other product applications.
In the process of committing to material technology innovation and helping the sustainable development of the express logistics and packaging industry, Changsu Industrial launched another bio-based film that achieves carbon reduction at the source -BiOPA® in March this year. The properties are very close to BOPA, and has the characteristics of “low carbon emission” and “high performance”. More importantly, BiOPA® has passed the “TUV” international authoritative certification, providing downstream customers with practical and sustainable express logistics packaging solutions at a time when green and low-carbon production and lifestyles are becoming popular.
Today, green and sustainable development have become a social consensus, and innovative bio-based film represented by Changsu Industry’s BiONLY® and BiOPA® not only can boost the green development of express logistics packaging, but also empower the low-carbon transformation in the fields of food, daily chemicals, industry, electronics and so on.
Changsu industry is willing to work hand in hand with many downstream customers to jointly create a new pattern of green and low-carbon industrialization development.
